Take care of yourself and exercise!

And yet, 5 minutes of exercise in nature are enough to change your mood!

Research by the University of Essex, in Britain, showed that exercising in nature, even for just five minutes every day, has a positive effect on our psychology, boosts our energy, improves our performance, promotes weight loss and boosts our self-confidence.

As the results of the research reveal, the combination of five minutes of exercise and a natural environment significantly increases self-esteem and improves our mood. Exercising outdoors helps us eliminate the stress of the day and negative thoughts. To face issues more optimistically, to concentrate better and to think more clearly.

Furthermore, it seems that when we exercise outside, we are more likely to exercise for longer and with more appetite, since the stimuli of the outdoors, along with the fresh air, dispel the boredom that usually overtakes us when we exercise indoors.

Yoga in nature: It is more effective than any other exercise for improving flexibility and elasticity, as well as for correcting posture. It regulates the nervous and hormonal systems.

Running: Running is an ideal exercise for the circulatory system. It stimulates the heart, improves the respiratory system and strengthens -mainly, but not only- the muscular system of the lower extremities. At the same time, it improves physical condition and causes a significant loss of calories.

Swimming: Swimming significantly improves cardiovascular fitness and strengthens all the muscles of the body. It improves posture, fights diseases such as arthritis and is an ideal exercise for restoring movement after injuries.

Beach volleyball: It is an aerobic exercise and improves cardiorespiratory function. With beach volleyball, we improve our physical condition, endurance and jumping ability. It exercises large muscle groups, mainly the lower extremities and most importantly, we spend our hours on the beach in a pleasant way!
